Hired as Quality Systems Mgr (Environmental and Quality) reporting to the Plant Mgr.  In this position working on the supervision of Quality Engineers, Supplier Engineer Calibration, PPAP and TS Coordinator, Quality Supervisors (2nd Shift), Quality and Document Control Assistant, and EHS Supervisor. 
	
Among the activities that I developed since 1998, has been to create and improve the current environmental and quality system throughout the entire plant, to ensure any change or improvement is carried out through the current procedures to control and monitor its effectiveness. Similarly, being in contact with customers, suppliers and corporate departments has been very important activity in this position which maintains the plant in constant communication to identify and request any needs or share any improvement proposals.

In general, several activities have been developed in this position for example:

	Create and Improved documentation and structure of the Quality System
-	Quality and Environmental standards were combined which reduced a lot of procedures, forms and quality records.
-	Create documentation supporting quality manual and corporate procedures. 
	Create effective action plans to reduce accidents and incidents in order to reduce the lost day and incident rate. 
	Effective communication with Customers and Corporate co-workers.
	Create, review and approve internal and external audits plans. 
-	Define the Quality and EHS audit plant based the process´ importance. 

	Review and approve supplier and customer corrective actions.
-	Follow the main solutions techniques and share with employees and staff.
	Acting as lead auditor on internal and external audits (third-party).
-	Assist and participate as lead auditor during 3rd party audits. 
	Apply knowledge of statistical techniques as decision support. 
-	Give leadership and support of the correct statistical tools to be used.
	Review and approve PPAP information for customers. 
	Review and approve supplier PPAP’s based on the CS Supplier Manual.
	Support Manufacturing and Quality Engineers to review and approve FMEA's and PCP.
	Develop and schedule the management review meetings based on the monthly and quarterly measurable analysis.
-	Coordinate corrective actions with staff for those internal and corporate metrics that do not met the budget goal.  
	Initiate and coordinate OEM waivers or alerts, as, SREA from Ford, FR´s for Stellantis, and 360 form for GM, as well as waivers from tier two customers.  
	Participate on design review meetings for brake & fuel products to reduce the risk of any potential failure.
	Review the APQP timeline of new projects to ensure deliverables are delivered on time. 
	Coordinate with QE Eng and lab technician, all test required during the phase launch. 
	Active participation during the launch review meeting, to ensure resources and deliverables were understood by the whole team. 
	Create kaizen event with others sister plants to improve on quality, manufacturing and packaging savings
	Participate on kaizen events to support the team to analyze current vs future situation, and to ensure they apply the tools correctly.

Hired in this organization as QS-9000 and ISO-9001 Coordinator reporting to the QA Mgr.  The main activities directed on this position were: 

	Developed training plans of quality standards, ISO-9001 and QS-9000, for all direct and indirect personnel. 
	Actively participate in the creation of the quality system based on the two standards mentioned above. 
	Develop training to engineering and quality personnel related to process flow diagrams, control plans, and FMEA as well as its implementation on each applicable process.
