ERP Support Specialist IBM AS400
The role requires a talented, selfstarter to join their IT team in supporting their implementation of the Orion ERP.
Help requests and applying their knowledge of RPG, CLP, and SQL to investigate issues logged and recommend solutions.
3 to 5 years of experience required
Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field or demonstrated relevant experience
Role Responsibilities as Orion ERP Technical Support Analyst
Work on technical help requests as assigned by the Helpdesk Manager.
Use their knowledge of IBM iSeries, RPG, CLP, and SQL to investigate issues logged and recommend solutions.
Assist in the management of support requests to ensure a response is received in the time expected.
Work with Orion RPG developers to implement changes and bug fixes.
Responsible for Orion ERP, reporting, and technical support to an existing Orion ERP environment live, UAT and dev covering multiple functional areas including finance multiple, Sales Marketing, Inventory, Warehouse, Procurement, etc.
Role Requirements
Proficient with IBM iSeries development, CL, RPG including IV and FreeFormat, ILE, and SQL
Understanding of ERP modules including AR, AP, GL, Purchasing, Sales, Warehouse Management, Inventory Management, Reporting.
Familiarity with IT infrastructure and database administration.
Experience with iSeries DB2400
Monday to Friday schedule
