AV INSTALLATION AND SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Our client, a well-established commercial AV design, integration, and managed services company, specializing primarily in luxury retail and public spaces, has an immediate opening for an experienced Commercial AV Installation and Service Technician to help them with successful installation and repairs of a wide variety of audio/visual projects.
Overview.
he successful candidate must possess excellent customer service skills, a strong work ethic, excellent organization skills and a solid understanding of AV Systems and troubleshooting.
ust be able to work with all necessary tools for any potential job and possess a high level of expertise on various electronic and mechanical systems.
You must be able to install various audio and video components such as speaker, amplifiers, DSP’s, LCD monitors & mounts and dvLED walls.
Must be able to recognize wiring or device components that require repair or replacement and be able to carry out those tasks.
Test and adjusts electronic equipment to ensure that they are in optimal working order.
The person in this role will be communicating with customers, such as instructing them on the handling of the devices in question and explaining the problems and solutions.

Must be able to interpret and understand Audio and Video Wiring Schematics and other project documents.
omplete service calls using diagnostic/troubleshooting skills.
ust be punctual, able to meet deadlines, detail oriented and possess superb organizational skills.

aintain an on-going dialog with Project Manager and Service Admin, ensuring that work quality, performance, and materials meet required schedules and expectations.

Required Knowledge, Experience and Skills.
Minimum 3 years Commercial AV experience70 Volt & 8 Ohm Audio systemsNetworked AV SystemsAtlona Control SystemsVideo Conferencing & Teleconferencing systems, Conference Room DSP’s/Echo Cancellation/Voice LiftLCD and Direct View LED Video WallsDigital SignageLive-Streaming SystemsExperience with Biamp/BSS/DBX/AtmosphereDBX, JBL, Atlas/Atmosphere, Sound Reinforcement Systems, Teleconferencing Systems, and Video Presentation Systems.
Advanced knowledge and certification in control software and programming etc.
