• Responsible for the Infant, Child and Adult Care operations at the mill –up to 11 production lines in total– and up to 427 people under my department (staff & unionized labor).
• Responsible for Production, Maintenance and Engineering teams.
• Fully responsible for implementing and sustaining the company’s programs in the following areas:
     o Safety - EHS program implementation, Risk Identification and Mitigation, Safety training.
     o Quality - QMS, GMP’s, HACCP, FDA compliance, CAPA for CTQ characteristics, defects and complaints.
     o Operation - Fill Rate, Production Planning, OEE, Waste, Lean tools, Maintenance and House Keeping (5S)
     o Cost - Budget control, material usage and expense optimization, savings program execution.
     o Human Capital - Identify, develop and retain talent, performance feedback, prevent & solve conflicts.
• Extensive collaboration across the organization - Marketing, Research & Development, Supply Chain, Finance, Purchasing, etc.- involving three business categories from medium to top management levels.
• Capital projects management: development, planning and implementation for as much as $1.8MM usd.
• Extensive experience in several project classes: Capacity Increase, Product, Profit and Quality improvement.
• World class cost savings on a yearly basis for 4 years: representing up to 7% and averaging of 5% of operating
cost through product and raw material innovations as well as appropriation of state-of-the-art equipment.
• Development and control of annual budgets of around $ 120MM USD for operations.
• Development of annual budgets in excess of $ 10MM USD for capital projects.
• Average yearly 18% improvement in quality index in the last four years.
• Average yearly 17% improvement in waste index in the last four years. Two years with 30% improvement.

• Responsible for the Maintenance and Engineering teams supporting the three core business production lines at the mill: Infant, Child & Adult Care.
• Responsible for Maintenance Program implementation and improvement.
• Identify, Design and Install engineering solutions regarding Safety, Quality and Operating performance issues.

• Responsible for 4 infant care (diaper) operations and one child (training pant) operation.
• Activities: production planning, scheduling and bottom line KPI's.
• Responsible for Safety, Quality and Operational training.

• Team leader of a training pants production line - In charge of production and maintenance teams assigned to the mentioned asset.

• Responsible for production crew management, process control and continuous improvement, process troubleshooting as well as to ensure adherence to the company's several programs in the production lines.

• Responsible for the electrical maintenance program, sofware analysis and documentation as well as for improving production lines reliability from and electrical - electronic standpoint.

• Responsible for supporting for the corporate and operational network (1500 users). Assigned to maintain within operational and availability standards 550 workstations.

• Responsible for 12 unionized Telmex Telephone Sales Representatives for the westside Mexico City metroplex.

The goal of the Control and Automation Engineering program us to form professionals capable of projecting, designing, innovating, mantain as well as manage systems and machinery with a high level of automation within the mexican industry in general.

This program encompasses a solid multidiscipline formation in applied engineering sciences heavily oriented to solving all kinds of problems in the fields of industrial electronics, process control, automation, hydraulics, pneumatics, instrumentation as well as analog and digital systems.
