SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR LEAD

SysAdmin Lead
General Description: The System Administrator Lead is
responsible for overseeing the implementation of Jira-to-Jira integration and
providing ongoing support for Jira changes based on project requirements.
Additionally, the role involves installing software releases, performing system
upgrades, troubleshooting system issues, maintaining system documentation, and
ensuring data integrity across various technologies and applications. Job Responsibilities: ·        
Implement
Jira-to-Jira integration and provide ongoing support for Jira changes ·        
Install
new software releases, perform system upgrades, and evaluate/apply patches ·        
Troubleshoot
system issues and resolve or escalate as necessary ·        
Perform
system backups, recovery, and maintain data files ·        
Monitor
system configuration to ensure data integrity ·        
Create
and update system documentation, including configurations and backup procedures ·        
Provide
user management and support for local and remote users ·        
Manage
system access across groups to ensure compliance ·        
Create
and manage security schemes, permission schemes, and configurations ·        
Interface
with development groups within the organization for IT support during
development cycles/software ·        
Manage and administer
JIRA/Confluence add-ons, plugins, and extensions ·        
Maintain
other reporting and collaboration tools in the engineering environment ·        
Maintain
and manage Automation Build Environments such as Jenkins ·        
Implement
Atlassian Tools upgrades and coordinate infrastructure maintenance and system
migrations with other IT staff ·        
Work
on complex workflows and heavy customization issues types ·        
Perform
Jira to Cloud migration and Confluence to Cloud migration Qualifications: ·        
5-8
years of experience in system administration ·        
Proficiency in Shell Scripting ·        
Proficiency in Jira JQL query ·        
Experience
with Groovy Scripting for automation of workflows and template creation ·        
Experience
with databases such as PostgreSQL and MySQL Must-Haves: ·        
Experience
with user management and support for a large number of users ·        
Proficiency
in managing security schemes, permission schemes, and configurations ·        
Experience with JIRA/Confluence
add-ons, plugins, and extensions administration ·        
Familiarity
with managing reporting and collaboration tools in an engineering environment ·        
Experience
with Automation Build Environments such as Jenkins ·        
Experience
in implementing Atlassian Tools upgrades and coordinating system migrations ·        
Experience
with complex workflows and heavy customization in Jira ·        
Experience
with Jira to Cloud migration and Confluence to Cloud migration Nice-to-Haves: ·        
Additional
certifications or training in relevant technologies ·        
Experience
