Head of Financial Services for APAC & America’s regions.
The candidate should have extensive knowledge in managing effective day to day activities for high volume transactional departments for Accounts Payable, VCC Operations, payments & receipts allocations, MOR – customer receipts (merchant of records) & other trade payment functions The role requires a strong people management skill set, can drive change and improvements forward, set and encourage achievement of performances targets and SLA’s and collaborate with internal commercial and operations departments as well as excellent commercial relations with suppliers.
Key Responsibilities.
Provide strong leadership and oversee efficient, accurate and timely processing and recording of transactions whilst maintaining data integrity and a high level of financial controlsManagement of high-volume day to day activities for transactional operations including AP, VCC Ops, MOR & refunds, VAT compliance as applicable, cash allocations, cash forecasting and other trade payments activitiesProvide an outstanding service to the WebBeds business, including.
greement and implementation of standardized procedures as agreed with the GFO DirectorProcedures and Policy’s to be appropriately maintained, reviewed, documented, and used to teamsAchievement of agreed KPIs and targets, including.
P backlogs and query resolution, debit balance minimization, override & pre buys, and marketing fee recoveryEffective AP dispute resolution, collaboration with suppliers and internal partnersEffective fraud detection cycle – customer credit card payments and supplier VCCTimely cash allocation to customer accounts – collaboration with customers and internal partnersEffective Aged Creditors reporting and reconciliation in accounting systems & collaboration with R2R departmentEffective debit balance reporting and reclaims, controls to mitigate riskActive management of Breakage maximization using agreed proceduresEffective month end close procedures and controlsEffective management of approval and payment processes, consistent with cash forecasting requirementsEnsure appropriate and consistent governance and risk management including adherence to.
Delegated Authority LimitsSupport the GFO Director and Regional Financial Managers to run efficient regional shared services teams, introduce innovations and ideas to enhance productivity, a continuous improvement approach to developing the shared services teams and processes.
ork with Regional Heads to identify risks of loss to the business and to recommend and implement appropriate improvementsSupport the Team Leaders to motivate the teams to deliver excellent customer services to stakeholder departments, suppliers, customers to meet SLA’s Support the team Leaders and manager to meet annual objectivesReview current transactional processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement within finance processes which are documentedMonthly creditors ledger maintenance reviews – including, but not limited to unallocated receipts, unallocated trade payments, debit balances and Fraud.
Report to management risks/concernsEnsure collaboration with finance teams & digitalisation teams to identify opportunities to automate manual and repetitive tasks relating to invoice processing, allocations, reconciliation, reporting, and analysisWork with the disputes team to ensure creditors disputes are resolved as per SLA’s and mitigate lossesAbility to build effective relationships across business groups and functions, based on mutual trust and encouraging others to do the sameAssist management to organise the delegation of requirements for audits and pre-audit reviews relating to creditors and MOR areas, ensure deadlines are met.
Job Qualifications.
CPA Certification is an advantage2 Years + high volume transactional shared services environmentVirtual Credit Card payments & MOR experiencePro-efficient on SAP & reporting toolsStrong people management skills, different cultural understandingKPI’s targets, identifying unproductive areasPolicy and procedures – design and revampExperience in finance E2E high volume transactional processes & current systems.
