Position.
Global Director Product Innovation and R&D Location.
Alicante/Spain (Hibrid or Remote) Responsabilities.
Responsible for Innovation Projects that improves and enhances the final product applications and research of new potential markets emerging technologies, trends and future products.
Manage the budget for Innovation projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and cost-effective innovation.
Focus on efficiency and performance improvement of the different processes using the fiber, creating the Best Practice book to be used from the Tech Supoort Team.
Manage product R&D, product range specifications and also the development of final product fabric prototypes (fabric library).
Develop and maintain strong relationships with external partners, research centers, universities, organizations, companies, and suppliers worldwide to leverage expertise and resources for continuous improvement.
Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the textile industry, specifically in new blends, new materials, or structures, and provide strategic recommendations for the company's growth.
Identify new products and processes to be developed.
Develop together with Quality Department the product and process test procedures as necessary to evaluate and validate new product requirements to meet testing standards.
Assess and evaluate efficiencies and performance on textile fibre and yarn processing machine operations in order to improve the quality and manufacturing costs.
Collaborate closely with other departments such as Tech Support and Marketing to integrate R&D initiatives seamlessly into overall business strategies.
Profile.
Bachelor´s degree in Textile Engineer.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a similar role.
Experience working with international companies.
Extensive knowledge in latest spinning technology, knitting and weaving processes.
Fluent in English.
