TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER (SEMICONDUCTOR)

Our client, a lading provider of consumer, business-to-business, and industrial digital imaging solutions to markets throughout the US has an immediate opening for a Technical Support Engineer.
This is a great opportunity to work with Semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
he individual in this role will provide customer support for onsite installations, repairs and maintenance of semiconductor equipment primarily in Hillsboro, Oregon area.
Training will be held either in Austin, Texas or Hillsboro, Oregon for a period of 1-3 months.

ay to day responsibilities include.
Check and maintain equipment within factory standard specifications of system equipment.
nstruct customers in the operation and maintenance of the system equipment.
erve as company liaison with customer on matters for assigned projects (i.
.
nstallations and major component replacements).
erform complex repair maintenance or unit replacement according to factory procedures independently and with others.
rovide technical support to customers and respond to questions regarding operation procedures, equipment malfunctions, and other technical issues to minimize equipment down time and ensure positive customer relations.
dentify and report equipment error and status updates related to equipment performance issues to aid in troubleshooting or maintenance.
aintain accurate documentation of activity and provide periodic reports.
onduct training for customer personnel ensuring proficiency of service and operations.
ork with other technicians in the field to troubleshoot and service equipment.
