hat you will do? Job Scope & PurposeProvides guidance to SAP Basis Administrators and Support Analysts.
aintains all SAP Systems and related software including upgrades, preventative and corrective maintenance through the change management process and within scheduled maintenance windows.
dministers the configuration of SAP Systems and services for all JCI enterprise data centers.
onitors vendors' support facilities for software updates and recommends and implements maintenance to keep systems current and well within vendors' support requirements.
bility to recognize and respond to customer expectations with a sense of urgency.
rovides for service continuity by executing backup and recovery processes and procedures to support recovery from hardware and application failures.
aintains Disaster Recovery plans, procedures and test scenarios and participates in regular DR rehearsals.
aintains SOX procedures, adheres to SOX policies and gathers evidence for SOX audits.
pplies security policies to the SAP & Database platforms as determined by the IT Security group.
ooperates with people of different levels inside/outside the company and interacts with teams to reach goals and business objectives.
rovides 2nd level of incident and problem management with responsibility for resolution and root cause analysis of the most complex hardware and software issues within Operating Level Agreements.
onitors and evaluates system performance and performs tuning functions to achieve optimal system efficiency and throughput.
onitors system resources utilization and supports capacity planning by capturing data, analyzing trends, and making recommendations for HW upsize/downsize.
articipates in planning and execution of server workload migrations and consolidations in conjunction with the Project Engineering Team.
nterfaces and coordinates with Global Infrastructure Architecture, Project Engineering, Application Managed Services and Business teams.
aintains knowledge of the latest developments impacting the SAP Basis Platform and makes recommendations that will improve efficiency, throughput, capabilities, and/or capacity.
rovides effective technical documentation to clearly communicate procedures and developments to other IT personnel.

hat we look for? Position RequirementsUniversity degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems or similar.
- 10 years of SAP Basis platform experience (ABAP and JAVA).
- 5 years Linux and Windows experience.
- 5 years HANA Database experience.
Experience with MSSQL, Sybase or Oracle is a plus.

xcellent communication skills and proficiency in speaking English.
he successful incumbent in this position will have extensive knowledge and experience in maintaining and configuring SAP Systems including ABAP and JAVA Stack based systems.
Advanced knowledge and skills in all areas related to SAP Products and system software is required.
Strong analytical skills are required to understand, diagnose, and resolve technical situations.
xperience with Linux and Windows platforms as well as Azure or Google cloud platforms is strongly desired.
