SYSTEM/SOFTWARE ENGINEER

INTRODUCTION.
We started a new selection process for our Plant in Querétaro, the position is System/Software Engineer OBJECTIVE OF THE POSITION As a System Engineer, your main function will be in charge of the installation, administration and maintenance of the computation cluster servers, supporting for users, licenses, software and jobs queue monitoring.
Additionally you will join our Digitalization team and work closely with the Data Science specialists and the areas involved.
You will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and maintaining high-quality software applications that integrate with the data analytics solutions.
WHICH PROFILE ARE WE SEARCHING FOR? Academic background.
Software, Computer Systems Engineer or similar.
Experience.
1 to 5 years of experience in a similar position.
Fluent English.
REQUIERED KNOWLEDGE.
Operating Systems (LinuxOS, Windows).
Hardware Programming (Python).
Data collection, processing and transformation Graphical User Interface Design.
Systems Architecture OTHER KNOWLEDGE.
Databases Knowledge.
(SQL) Software Design.
Networking administration.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES Installation, maintenance and management of computation cluster servers.
Installation, maintenance and management of specific commercial engineering software and licences.
Collaborate with the Digitalization and Data Science team to understand the projects requirements and design software solutions.
Write high-quality code in a variety of programming languages and use cutting-edge tools and technologies to build scalable and reliable applications.
Test and debug applications to ensure quality and reliability.
Investigate and propose innovative solutions to solve problems and improve the performance of software applications.
Stay up-to-date with the latest software trends and technologies and effectively apply them to the projects you work on.
Participate in code review processes and provide suggestions and solutions to improve the quality of the software.
