STAFF ENGINEER (PHP)

is looking for a Staff PHP Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico.
Our client is a leading expert network, providing business and government professionals opportunities to communicate with industry and subject-matter experts to answer research questions.
Their customers consult with these experts over the phone, in person at conferences, teleconferences, custom events and workshops, or may gather their primary research data through surveys, polls, or web-based data offerings.

healthcare, financial and business services, consumer goods and services; energy, industrials, and basic materials; tech, media, and telecom; and legal and regulatory.
Since , the company has provided its clients with primary research services, helping professionals comprehensively understand a topic before making significant investment and/or business decisions.
Their multinational client list includes nine top 10 consulting firms, hundreds of hedge funds, and many of the largest private equity firms and fortune-ranked companies.
The engineering team is taking on challenges to improve the internal CRM system and create new products to optimize the seamless delivery of the services.
You'll work with a team of engineers through challenging development projects.
You must be comfortable working EST hours.
Requirements.
5-10 years of professional experience developing web-based applications in PHP frameworks.
Professional experience using open-source PHP (Symfony and/or API Platform, or heavy design pattern PHP framework) Experience scaling in LAMP.
o Experience in leveraging Redis, RabbitMQ, and Supervisord; o Knowledge of Azure AI Search and storage accounts (a huge plus).
Experience leveraging APMs such as DataDog to isolate performance bottlenecks Solid understanding of Git concepts such as branching, merging, pull requests and conflict resolution utilizing Bitbucket or Github Responsibilities.
Optimize and deliver new features on PHP8 based CRM application Add new endpoints to Symfony4 based restful API Work on Angular 10 based SPA consuming APIs Stand up new macroservice repositories using API Platform 3.
