Right now, we are looking for DevOps Engineers to join our Cloud Studio at Globant! This Studio combines the best cloud technologies, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices along with unique Globant capabilities to facilitate new and more efficient way of doing business.
You will get the chance to.
Play a key role in our infrastructure management by working on Chef/Ruby code.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand the requirements and goals of the Chef Configuration Management migration.
Migrate existing Chef codebase from Community Edition to Enterprise Version.
Identify and eliminate 3rd party cookbook dependencies, ensuring a streamlined and secure configuration management process.
Upgrade and enhance existing cookbooks to meet the evolving needs of the infrastructure.
What will help you succeed.
Can effectively work in both Linux and Windows environments.
Proven experience as a DevOps engineer or similar role, with a focus on configuration management using Chef.
In-depth knowledge of Chef Configuration Management, with hands-on experience.
Experience in managing large-scale infrastructure with over VMs.
Familiarity with automation tools and best practices in the DevOps space.
Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex issues related to configuration management and deployment.
Solid understanding of version control systems, especially Git.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
Chef Certification is a plus.
