SR QUALITY ENGINEER - ELECTRIFICATION

Job purpose Provide support to the manufacturing process by following up on the solution of quality problems in assigned areas.
Work involves activities that require decision making skills based on quality standards and documented specifications.
Develop quality technicians and auditors for optimum performance and manage quality plans.
Key responsibilities Manage product quality.
Ensure Product Control Plans are properly documented.
Support new product launches as required.
Measure customer satisfaction performance using information from your portals and informal communication.
Ensure prompt response to customer complaints using customer defined formats, as well as ensure timely implementation of effective corrective actions.
Ensure PPAP requirements are met.
Coordinate customer visits related to quality issues.
Understand customer specific requirements and implement required actions.
Actively participate in change management.
Ensure active participation in External Audits (IATF / Others) as required.
Time disposition for problem resolution and according to the daily requirements.
This position will be in accordance with BorgWarner Reynosa's current Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Management System designed and implemented under Mexican law and applicable national and international standards.
Safety rules, practices and training are included as outlined in the BorgWarner Reynosa Internal Work Regulations, which include the use of equipment, protective devices and/or clothing required by the company.
This position will perform in a manner that emphasizes the importance of preventing accidents and illnesses by assuming responsibility for those aspects of the Occupational Safety and Health Management System over which he/she has control.
All reasonable precautions must be taken in the given circumstances for the protection of your own safety and health and that of co-workers.
In addition, you will be responsible for reporting all injuries and/or possible hazardous situations, exposure hazards, incidents or accidents that occur to your immediate supervisor so that preventive and corrective actions can be taken.
What we’re looking for Basic Knowledge Electrical/Mechanical Engineering with Degree Specific Knowledge IPC 610.
Microsoft Office.
Structured Problem Solving.
English language >80%.
Skills 2 to 3 years of experience in quality area.
Skills Proactive.
Honest.
Responsible.
Good oral and written communication.
Teamwork.
Analytical skills for proper decision making (IPC 610, Product Specifications).
