SOFTWARE ENGINEER LEAD - ECOMMERCE - NEXT.JS/GCP

This lead position is responsible for leading the development team in implementing new functionality and coding updates to both new and existing systems.
In this position, you will primarily be working with Node/Postgres on the backend and Next/React on the frontend, but working knowledge of similar and related technologies is important.
The role will work on an amazing team of engineers to continue building out products to meet our retailers digital needs.

Great work environment / relaxed atmosphere 15 vacation days from the first year of employment Gym membership sponsorship Fully stocked kitchen in new office space 24-hour access to office installations after work hours and during the weekend if needed Direct working relationship between client and employee The Responsibilities Manage a team of 10+ developers, development operations engineers, and QA specialists Define and roll out team processes to support healthy day-to-day operations of the development team Work closely with product managers to ideate software solutions and project managers to estimate effort and execute product development resources Design client-side and server-side architecture Develop and manage well-functioning database architecture Work with DevOps to lead decisions on security, monitoring, and service uptime accountability Write technical documentation as needed Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders and teams across the organization to scope and improve software
