SENIOR AUTOMATION QA ENGINEER (JAVA)

Project description We are expanding a Trading Flow QA team for a top-tier Hedge Fund from the USA.
The team is distributed across America, Europe, and Asia.
Main focus is automation test coverage for the services in trading pipeline.
We are looking for a talented candidate with several years of experience in software development or strong testing automation with programming abilities.
This position will be at an individual contributor level as part of a collaborative, fast-paced team.
As a member of the team, you will work closely with developers and business users to understand application features and expectations, evolve the test framework and improve coverage, enhance CI/CD process and manage the environment.
Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable test automation in Javan Design and develop test harnesses and frameworksn Drive standardization and adoption of Test Automation Technologies to maintain consistencyn Pair with feature developers to identify and prevent gaps with automation/regression coveragen Lead initiatives of performance testing, stress testing automationn Be a strong quality advocate, collaborating closely with software engineers, designers, and product managers to release revolutionary products.
Take full ownership of and maintain a robust environmentn Work with developers on improving system testability and creating testing environmentn Become a technical SME and mentor to individual contributorsn Help set up and maintain the CI/CD environments and pipelines SKILLS Must have Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related fieldn 5+ years of experience in Java Backend Automation QA or developmentn Experience working with Unix/Linux environmentsn Experience with Continuous Testing and Continuous Deliveryn Professional SQL skillsn Have the ability to solve complex problems with practical, maintainable, and scalable solutions.
Experience collaborating with programmers and business stakeholders to automate critical workflows for testing.
