SALES ENGINEER

This position is part of our Signal & Power Solutions segment out of our Mexico Technical Center, Juarez, MX.
Main Job Responsibilities Quote and cost model development to achieve profitability expectations and assure price integrity Develop and enhance business relationships through customer communication Work closely with cross functional areas to develop and refine quote assumptions Maintain and report-out on status to goals for executive level audience Relationship development Establish and participate in face to face meetings with customer Grow customer contact list Support customer design development with cost savings and design enhancement suggestions Establish knowledge competency of Aptiv applications to represent the portfolio & value prop Plan and participate in customer technical reviews.
Ensure compliance with customer specific requirements Major Job Qualifications/Specific Skills Bachelor's degree in Business and/or Engineering +5 years of experience in similar position Strong English communication skills, written and verbal Analytical capability and business acumen Technical awareness and problem solving methodologies Very strong people and communication skills High energy, a passion for success, the desire to lead Self-starter, Ability to manage multiple activities effectively without supervision.
Preferred Skills Previous experience working with start-up OEMs Knowledgeable with vehicle wiring system designs and/or processes Ability to comprehend customer requirements and communicate them effectively to the internal organization Successful history of leading a program team activity with a customer Strong Excel skills Willingness to travel % Aptiv Rewards and Advantages.
