t targets a gap between the academia and industrial ecosystems in the implementation of green hydrogen to boost the energy transition and to tackle the energy transition challenges, through the entire hydrogen value chain.
he HyLab involves valuable national and international R&D institutes, academia, industry companies, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), start-ups, and hydrogen-related technology manufacturing industries.
e are looking for a Researcher - Energy Conversion Systems Prototyping who will report to the Lead Research on Energy Conversion and will have the mission to Develop applied research and innovation activities in Systems Prototyping, namely on new combustion chambers design, integration and monitoring during testing.
ou will be challenged with.
esigning and prototyping innovative combustion chambers for integration into industrial-scale combustion technologies.
mplementing sensors and automated data acquisition systems at both chamber and system levels.
efining operational parameters for the new combustion system when using fuels derived from hydrogen.
ollaborating on R&D projects, particularly those aligned with the Mobilizing Agendas of the Recovery and Resilience Plan, with a focus on Systems Prototyping.
ooperating with project partners to ensure the successful delivery of technical work and the preparation of related project reports.
roviding specialized services to industry customers and partners.
articipating in activities to disseminate scientific knowledge, including writing scientific articles, conference papers, and communications.
ho are we looking for.
aster’s degree in mechanical, Physics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
xperience in designing and conceptualizing new prototypes at small and/or preindustrial scales.
roficiency in data acquisition workflows.
xperimental experience in electronic circuits and sensing would be advantageous.
trong programming skills in Python and/or MATLAB are advantageous.
roficiency in English at level C1 or above.
