uPont has an opening position of Production Supervisor based in Reynosa, MX.
This position will oversee the second shift production teamYour key responsibilities will be/what you’ll do.
upervise multi-shift production.
lan and achieve productivity, quality, safety and cost targets.
oordinate scheduling of prototypes with Production Control, Design and Manufacturing Engineering.
valuate personnel requirements based on business and employee needs.
ecommend equipment, tooling, and processes to support business objectives.
upport prototyping activities of Design Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production Control.
valuate training requirements and request necessary training.
nforce safety regulations and all company policies.
eport any equipment that is not in safe operating condition and remove it from use.
aintain a good standard of housekeeping.
trive to continually improve the function and operation of the department.
lan and schedule departmental personnel, equipment, and materials to meet defined quality, delivery, and cost standards.
rain and instruct employees in the performance of their work, assigned jobs, and familiarize employees concerning company and departmental policies and procedures.
eview production processes and recommend improvements to existing production standards and equipment to include investigating “State-of-the-Art” equipment that could reduce production cost.
esponsible for contacting Engineering and Inspection regarding whether to run or not to run jobs.
esponsible to adhere to and maintain the production schedule.
dheres to quality and safety systems or maintenance of quality and safety standards.
erform other related duties as required.
ualifications.
vailability to work from 7pm to 5am, Monday to ThursdayBachelor’s degree in a related business or technical field or equivalent education and experience.
+ years manufacturing experience.
revious supervisory experience required.
ood problem solving, decision-making, time-management and organizational skills.
