The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong attention to detail and accuracy in claims processing, along with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members, insurance companies, and patients.
uties and Responsibilities.
Utilize proficient understanding of CPT & ICD-10 coding and medical billing procedures to accurately prepare and submit medical insurance claims.
Demonstrate knowledge of insurance claim submission processes and reimbursement practices to ensure timely reimbursement.
Verify and review claim information for completeness and compliance with billing regulations.
Record and reconcile payments received from insurance companies and patients.
Ensure accurate posting of payments and adjustments in the billing system.
Collaborate effectively with team members, insurance companies, and patients to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues.
Managing insurance and patient Accounts Receivable (A/R), resolving billing discrepancies, addressing insurance denials and rejections by sending claims for reprocessing and/or submitting corrected claims/appeals as necessary.
