MECHANICAL PRODUCT ENGINEER

Your Role · Establish, document, and follow project schedule · Ensure customer deliverables are met (Prototypes, Pilots, Production Trial Run parts, etc.) · Responsible for creating design validation plans for housings portfolio · Developing & validating new designs and changes to existing designs.
· Coordinate build activities with ME & validation activities with lab & VE.
· Interface with customers & suppliers in defining product requirements & component specifications.
· Work with suppliers, purchasing, SQE, ME, VE, plant mfg., plant quality to resolve issues.
· Provide support & lead technical presentations.
Manage time/work in support of program deliverables.
· Prepare and deliver design analysis reports including DFMEA, FEA, Mold flows, and tolerance stacks.
· Provide customer support through visits, in OEM, harness or supplier plant.
· Maintain professional and responsive customer contact Your Background · Education.
Mechanic, Mechatronics, Electromechanical Engineering or Experience on the industrial design field.
· 90% English (written and verbal) · Knowledge in product design & validation methods · Problem solving skills, print interpretation, GD&T, and stack up studies · Familiar in component manufacturing processes (plastic molding, stampings, machining, deep drawn, etc.) · Ability to work independently and motivate others · Ability to lead projects, directing the activity of multiple support organizations and assure timely completion of deliverables.
