Corporate Treasury is the in-house bank of ABB and responsible for managing the financial exposures of ABB group.
As the main interface between ABB and the external financial world, Corporate Treasury is the central entry point for most financial activities of ABB companies.
n\nThe ABB group has substantial long-term pension liabilities in different countries worldwide which normally are funded with assets in stand-alone local pension funds.
Pension Management has the responsibility for the overall asset and risk management of the pension plans for the group.
nThe Pension Management team manages the strategic and - together with the country finance/pension responsible/board of trustees - the operative actions for the group pension exposures.
Your responsibilities Support pension management team on the year-end US GAAP annual closing activities.
Help to perform internal control activities.
Ensure complete documentation of internal control evidence for audit purpose.
Assist the preparation of the pension related annual disclosure.
Maintaining Excel working spreadsheet and seeking opportunity for automation.
Assist with preparation of management reporting materials for the executive committee members and board members.
Participate in meetings with external asset managers, consultants, and auditors.
Your background You are currently in university studying Accounting, Controlling, Finance or Business.
You are available from August till January for 32 hours a week.
Fluent in English, ability to work with diverse teams across several countries.
Basic knowledge & understanding of Accounting, Controlling, and Finance.
Proficiency with Excel.
Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to work independently.
