About the Role** As the Head of LATAM Vehicle Solutions, you will lead a dynamic and diverse team of professionals dedicated to developing and managing vehicle solutions for drivers across the LATAM region.
This pivotal role requires a balance of strategic vision, leadership & stakeholder management, operational excellence, and business acumen.
By collaborating with external partners to deliver diverse and complex solutions, you will not only tailor our global offerings to meet the unique needs of each country within LATAM but also significantly enhance the lives of thousands of drivers and their families.
Your leadership will ensure the successful integration of regional requirements into a coherent product plan, advocating for resources, investments, product enhancements, support initiatives and commercial strategies within a competitive landscape.
Your role will also focus on leveraging data-driven insights and understanding human behavior to optimize our solutions and strategies.
The impact of finding these vehicle solutions extends far beyond business success; it's about creating a meaningful difference in communities by improving livelihoods and fostering economic growth.
**What You'll Do** - _Strategic Leadership.
Guide your team, setting clear objectives and strategies that align with both regional and global goals.
- _Partnership Development.
Forge and maintain strong relationships with external partners and internal stakeholders to secure and optimize vehicle solutions.
Operate contracts and collaborations that benefit vehicle suppliers, drivers and Uber.
- _Product Advocacy and Data-Driven Decision Making.
Act as the voice of LATAM markets, presenting compelling cases for global resources, investment, and product enhancements.
Navigate organizational priorities to secure support for regional initiatives.
Use data-driven insights and a deep understanding of human behavior to inform strategy and product development.
- _Operational Excellence.
Oversee the operational aspects of vehicle solutions in LATAM, including robust go to market strategies of key solutions, ensuring the effectiveness, scalability, and financial sustainability.
- _Market Analysis and Insights.
Continuously analyze market trends and customers needs to integrate regional demands into the global product strategy.
Find structural solutions to root causes, adapt and innovate vehicle solutions to meet evolving market requirements, leveraging data and insights to enhance product design and strategy.
**What You'll Need** - _Proven Leadership.
Demonstrated experience leading and motivating a diverse team in a dynamic environment, working remotely from different countries.
- _Strategic Operations Management.
Extensive background in managing complex operations and logistics, preferably within the tech or automotive sectors.
- _Partnership Management.
Strong track record in operating strategic partnerships, business development, with the ability to propose, negotiate and operate effectively to drive growth and profitability.
- _Data-Driven and Insight Generation.
Proficiency in using data analytics to inform decisions and generate insights into human behavior to improve product offerings and market strategies.
- _Experimental Innovation.
Experience in launching and iterating experiments that could be translated into scaled, impactful product features.
- The desire to learn and grow, the self awareness to do so.
- _Experience in Automotive or Financial Services Industries.
Deep understanding of the automotive or financial sectors, especially with a focus on innovative vehicle solutions.
- _Multinational Operational Experience.
Prior experience managing operations across multiple countries, especially within LATAM, showcasing an ability to navigate cultural and logistical complexities.
- _Advanced Degree in Business or Related Field.
An MBA or equivalent, providing a solid foundation in business strategy, operations, and leadership.
