Function Ensures the smooth functioning of the engineering and mechanical support departments.

Responsibilities ·         Coordinate and participate in the development and optimization of new processes.
·         to coordinate the analysis work and search for causes of nonconformities and the devising of corrective action needed to ensure that defects do not re?occur.
·         Organize and lead engineering meetings.
·         Coordinate and document compliance audits ·         Product compliance/packaging.
·         Define and communicate strategies and objectives of the engineering team.
·         Ensure standardized and up to date work instructions for all manufacturing processes and equipment.
·         Ensure that a reliable process change system is in place and coordinate process validation.
·         Coordinate production transfers between facilities.
·         Coordinate preventive maintenance globally.
·         Overview the engineering personnel through leadership and accountability.
·         Assign tasks to personnel for development processes and designated special projects.
·         Coordinate and verify the execution of the assigned tasks.
·         Provide and record training to personnel assigned to engineering and designated special projects.
·         Evaluate the performance of personnel assigned to engineering and designated special projects.
Qualification ·         Great leadership skills.
·         Experience in metal forming/extrusion/transformation (desired).
·         Bachelor's degree in mechanical/industrial engineering.
·         Minimum of three (7) years’ experience with process development as a process engineer.
·         Minimum of three (5) years’ experience with lean manufacturing.
·         Bilingual (English, Spanish) ·         Availability to travel.
