FRONT-END ARCHITECT

Description & Requirements The Job The Principal Frontend Developer will be responsible for creating and maintaining our UI component libraries and working closely with our UX team in translating UX design into our code base to create reusable and consistent UI components to deliver best in class retail applications.
The Principal Frontend Developer will own our UI architecture for our retail applications and work closely with the product development team in the day to day implementation of that architecture and ensure best practices and standards are used in our applications.
What you will be doing Develop and maintain UI component libraries in alignment with UX designs to ensure consistency and reusability across retail applications.
Establish and own UI architecture, collaborating with product development teams to implement best practices and standards.
Partner with UX, architects, and senior developers to define and implement reusable UI components.
Ensure comprehensive understanding and utilization of front-end frameworks' theming, styles, and behavior.
Build, maintain, and QA thematic elements of the UI, enforcing consistent typography, color, and layout patterns.
Guide overall UI technology direction, including technology stack selection and prototyping of new ideas.
Mentor technical leads and architects to foster effective engineering practices.
Act as the primary UI solution expert for development teams.
You bring most of this Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with Angular and AngularJS.
Familiarity with third-party component libraries like Telerik/Kendo or similar.
Knowledge of testing methodologies.
Strong leadership skills to lead teams and meet deadlines.
Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

4+ years of specialized/industry experience.
