FINANCE LEAD/CONTROLLER

WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE The Controller manages accounting records and is responsible for the production of financial reports.
The controller oversees all employees involved in the accounting process, including accounts, receivable, accounts payable, and payroll.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED TO SUCCEED Perform month end closing procedures to include journal entries, corporate schedules New Product Standard Cost Update – Review and approve accuracy of product structure and routing file before updating base, current and going-to cost Review Daily Engineering Changes – Review and evaluate cost implications of engineering changes to routing and/or product structure Review, Analyze and Report Variances – Daily, weekly, and monthly review of purchase price, material usage, outside operation, labor price, labor usage and factory overhead efficiency variance Review, Analyze and Report Scrap Monitor Work Orders – insure completed work orders are being closed and investigate work orders without activity Prepare Monthly Contribution Margin Report Conduct weekly Cycle counts and perform if needed annual physical inventory Assist with Annual Budgeted Labor and Overhead Calculation Assist in the preparation and execution of the year-end cost roll Coordinate and authorize the preparation of reports for Government Agencies (Local, State and Federal) Responsible for the Mexican Accounting System and coordinate its relation to the Corporate Accounting System Advise Management on desirable changes due to changing Fiscal Laws and provides advice on Importing and Exporting Customs Regulations Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures Proficiency in using accounting software EXPERIENCES & QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in accounting or business administration required Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred Advanced conversational English (The interviews are in English) Previous experience in Manufacturing working on a factory Over 10 years of experience in similar positions Over 5 years of experience leading teams Experience leading Accounting, Internal and External Auditing, Taxes, Treasury, Accounts Payable (CXP), and Accounts Receivable (CXC) Experience with SAP SKILLS Communication skills Leadership skills Technical accounting expertise People skills Ability to commission, deploy and monitor effectiveness Terms & Conditions.
