Summary The P&T Cloud Cost Center of Excellence is dedicated to collaboratively solving common problems that impede effective cloud cost management in a sustained scalable manner.
As a senior project manager with the P&T Cloud Cost Center of excellence, you will be working with a team in an Agile environment and will be responsible to ensure that the project objectives, scope, budget, and timeline are met.
You will also manage the project stakeholders, risks, issues, and dependencies, and provide regular reports and updates to senior management and clients.
Responsibilities Oversee administrative tasks, including coordinating meetings, compiling status reports, building reports and dashboards, updating project documentation, taking notes and managing onboarding/ offboarding resources.
Manage planning and oversee project results to ensure it is completed in scope and within budget Manage Agile Scrum activities (daily standup, sprint planning, backlog refinement and retrospectives) in collaboration with the team.
Manage risk, issues and dependency management across the entire project lifecycle.
Maintain total awareness of impacts of scope, schedule and budget, including but not limited to, the ability to onboard resources, monitor and report on project health, and close out lessons learned.
Connect interdependencies and drive towards a larger program strategy to meet business objectives.
Manage matrix resources and stakeholders during project planning and execution.
Set milestones and keep projects on task.
Communicate with stakeholders and project champions to communicate status, resolve issues and drive completion of objectives.
Define and document the project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and track the project progress and performance.
Coordinate and communicate with project team members, clients, vendors, and other stakeholders, and ensure alignment and collaboration.
Manage and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies, and escalate them as needed.
Ensure the quality and timely delivery of project deliverables, and monitor and control the project scope and changes.
Conduct project reviews and lessons learned, and provide feedback and recommendations for improvement.
Report and present the project status, achievements, and challenges to senior management and clients.
Requirements Proven track record of successfully managing and delivering technology projects.
Strong knowledge and skills in project management methodologies, tools, and best practices, including Agile Methodologies.
Excellent communication, leadership, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
Certification in project management (e.
., PMP, PRINCE2, Agile) is a plus.
