•	Main contact with customer´s areas to manage Engineering changes, PPAP approvals, capacity management, technical reviews, problem solving, continuous improvement, etc.
•	Coordinate the analysis of technical information from the customers to quote new programs, assuring that all external and Cosma Internal requirements, norms and specs are covered in the quotes.
•	Drive the Quality initiatives to meet the Plant KPI´s; coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual KPI´s Management Reviews to evaluate results, define strategies and action items to meet the Plant´s objectives committed in the annual business plan and define new KPI´s and new targets.
•	Plant Management Representative with Cosma Corporate for Ergonomic initiatives and lead of the CSL Plant Ergonomic committee.

•	Develop Quality Department Functions for a Green Field Division
•	Hiring and training of key personnel of the Quality Department
•	Design and Development of both infrastructure and Systems for all Quality Areas and functions such as Welding Lab, CMM and Metrology, SQA and Receiving Inspection, Inspection areas, QMS, Quality Engineering, etc.
•	Launch of 3 major Programs at the same time of the Launch of a new Plant
•	PPAP approval of all new parts launched in the plant
•	Drive the Quality initiatives to meet the Plant KPI´s; coordinate monthly, quarterly and annual KPI´s Management Reviews to evaluate results, define strategies and action items to meet the Plant´s objectives committed in the annual business plan and define new KPI´s and new targets.

•	Single Contact of Cosma representing 10 plants with the customer, providing support in terms of manufacturing, cost, engineering changes, program development, etc.
•	Responsible to define program Timing and drive 10 Program teams to meet program deliverables on time and ensure the overall customer milestones were achieved: Design release and design changes, tooling development (dies and assembly cells), Pre-series timing and build events, PPAP, R@R, etc.
•	Align tooling and equipment sourcing strategies for all Cosma Plants to optimize cost and timing and Capital investment
•	Coordinate Subject matter experts and other human resources of all involved Cosma plants to meet targets of Program deliverables such as Tooling development, Plant construction, Logistic Plans, Product Engineering, Cycle Time, Cost, etc.
•	Coordinate the Engineering Change Process among customer´s areas and the involved Cosma Divisions: Technical analysis, feasibility, cost alignment, quotes, implementation time, change implementation, PPAP, etc.
•	Be the face to the customer for overall program report outs and meetings (PDT, Supplier Valve Reviews, Supplier Symposiums, etc.)
•	Initiate elevation process in case of major program issues and conflict resolution beyond program team ability

•	Implement Project Engineering activities to manage: Introduction of new technologies (hot stamping, laser cutting. Laser welding, stamping presses, blanking process, etc.) Capacity Increase, Implement process changes in the Plant, Dimensional improvements and in general Engineering Change management, etc.

•	Responsible to work with Interior and safety Systems Suppliers located in Mexico, as technical Liaison between suppliers and GM Internal areas, to meet expected targets of APQP, Launch, Current production and Warranty.
•	Took responsibility of this area in the middle of major launches in NA such as GMX353, GMT171/2, GMT166, etc. Help suppliers to resolve development issues and minimize impact and risk during launches.
•	Drive performance improvements of trouble suppliers using GM SQ tool box such as QSB, Deep Dive, Floor Shop Excellence, PCP audits, Containment Process, etc

•	Align and direct SQ Engineering activities to support Launch Strategies of GM SLP Plant and GM Program Team.
•	Responsible to drive Supplier Quality activities to meet Launch targets through the execution of SQ tool such as Executive Supplier Reviews, APQP Monitoring, Capacity Analysis, Supplier Readiness Reviews, etc.
•	All SQ Targets were met on time during the Launch of the T250 and T255 models and the Launch of the new GM Plant

•	Responsible of structures and chassis suppliers in Mexico, Drive suppliers of these commodities to successful launches of major programs manufactured in GMM plants, GMT9XXSUV, GMT901/2 PU and GMT319.
•	Drive performance improvements of trouble suppliers using GM SQ tool box such as QSB, Deep Dive, Floor Shop Excellence, PCP audits, Containment Process, etc.

•	Responsible to coordinate Body In White suppliers with GM Areas to insure compliance with timing and quality targets in a non-conventional GM Business Model (Tooling supplier contracted directly by GM and dimensional activities outsourced to a Japanese Company)
•	SQ and Purchasing liaison among T1 suppliers, Tooling Suppliers, Dimensional Outsource and GM Areas to assure a successful launch.
•	Lead and Support a wide variety of activities through the program development process; Sourcing Planning, Technical Reviews with Potential Suppliers, tooling concept design, analysis of supplier quotes, sourcing decision, tooling design, APQP execution, tooling follow up, tooling tryouts, tooling buyoffs at tool shops, Cost reduction workshops, home line tryouts, PPAP, R@R, etc.
•	Suppliers achieved key program targets on time, i.e. dimensional accuracy, surface quality, capacity, cost, etc.

•	Lead Launch SQE for all New Programs in Silao Plant, assisting SQ Launch Manager, Silao Plant and Launch Team with Mexican local suppliers to resolve quality issues and achieve program targets such as PPAP and R@R.
•	Responsible to Lead APQP activities with Structures and chassis suppliers in the Central Mexico Area and supplying GMT8XX product for Silao.
•	Chairman Honors Award as team member of the GMT805I and GMT830C Launches at Silao Plant.
•	PMQH (People make Quality Happen) Award as participant of the project to install the running boards option of the GMT8XX UUV in Silao.
•	Received GM share stocks as recognition as Top Performer in GMM Global Purchasing Area

•	Responsible to resolve supplier issues detected in GM Silao Plant and coordinate/implement effective and timely resolutions.
•	Reduction of discrepancies in parts shipped from GM metal Fab Plants using SQ tools such as CS1, CS2, Performance Review Meetings, etc.

•	Group Leader of multiple Quality Areas : Receiving Inspection, Body Shop, Welding Monitoring, Paint Shop , Assembly, Torque audits, GM Corporate Process Audit (TRIPS), Vehicle Final Inspection (CARE and GCA). Responsible to develop and provide the team with standardized methods to detect quality issues in the product and processes and provide feedback to the production and support areas to drive improvements.
•	Manage quality auditors and inspectors by creating a safe work environment, providing support to accomplish inspector’s job, verify compliance with Inspection Instructions and meet production, quality and budget targets.
•	Support ISO9000 initial certification in Silao Plant, developing procedures, instruction sheets and work standards.
