4) Ingeniería en Optimización de Procesos (August 2005—November 2010)

Position: General Manager 
Job Description: IOP has several representations, in which I develop the relationships and negotiations, their promotion and execution of some of the projects and services as Nestle, Peñoles (mining), Comisión Federal de Electricidad (CFE), Pemex Gas, Pemex Petrochemical and Pemex Refining for control strategies, tuning and automation. I collaborated with the ITESM (Instituto Tecnológico de Monterrey) to provide training in PEMEX GAS for Chemical Engineers, more than 12 seminars. I sold the LIMS and Chromatography administration software and implementation in PEMEX Gas with ThermoFisher for all the sites and corporate (~3,600,000.00 USD). 
With Expertune we installed the PlantTriage in PEMEX, YPF Refinery “La Plata” Argentina, CEMEX in Dominican Republic, Nestlé (several plants) and Peñoles (Mining).
I acted as an external consultant for defining the best practices in automation, standardization of technologies and maintenance schemes in the automation project for PEMEX HQ and Divisions for the DCO (Dirección Corporativa de Operaciones) (2007-2008).

Job Description: Planning and development for IPS in the territory (Mexico and Central America), including technical support, post-sales (services), training, promotion of the IPS (Invensys Process Solutions) portfolio in advanced solutions (simulation and modeling, advanced control, optimization, data historians, among other Technologies). Close relationship with Pemex Gas, Pemex Exploration and Production, Pemex Petrochemical and the IMP.

6) Aspen Technology Inc. (June 1998 – July 2004).

Position: Business Consultant Director for Latin America
Job Description: Strategic Planning for Latin America, provide support for all the Sales Account Managers (SAM’s) for the promotion and sales cycle of the different technologies from Aspen (MES Technologies); managed a group of twelve (12) Business Consultant Engineers with the objective to support the SAM’s and cover the different vertical markets in Latin America. I managed the support post-sales through the Customer Support Organization. I reviewed the prospecting activities, forecast and pipeline development of the region. I coordinated all the resources for the most important proposals that Aspen submitted, also, the revision of the technical and economical content of these proposals, participated actively in the major accounts such as Pemex, IMP, IIE, Ecopetrol, PDVSA, Petrobras, Refinor, PetroPeru, Arauco (Chile), Electroandina and others.
Active participation in the sell and proposal of advanced process control (APC) and Optimization Project for 4 units (CDU´s and FCC´s) in the Barrancabermeja Refinery; as well as in the Petrozuata bid and other important bids, with technologies as IP.21, Advisor, Asset Management and others.
In the fiscal years 2000, 2002 and 2004 I exceeded the objectives, getting the award named “100% Club”.

Position: Hi Spec Solutions Manager
Job Description: Technical support to the Account Mangers for the promotion and sales in the portfolio of Hi Spec Solutions. Deliver the value of Hi Spec technologies through presentations and demos. Elaboration of proposals in the Hi Spec technologies, mainly in the Pemex bids (as in Morelos for the pyrolysis Furnaces) and in some Private Industries (Indelpro – APC for PP, Celanese – Advanced regulatory control for reactors and Dupont).
Project Manager in the OTS implementation and in the robust tuning project for Celanese.
In some cases, I gave APC training and presented papers in different forums.
I won the “Control Innovation Award” from Honeywell world wide in 1996.
