Provide support to internal/ external employees by phone, remote and on
site, being the first point of contact for computer system related issues.
Assist infrastructure team on Installation, deployment, migration,
administration and management of enterprise servers such as Domain
Servers, Active Directory, File Servers, Print Servers, Data Base Servers,
Applications Servers, Mail Servers. Basic support of telephony system
(Avaya), installation and troubleshooting of VoIP devices, voicemail password
reset. Network support related on VLANs, access and troubleshooting in all
company buildings. Basic understanding / administration of switches, access
points, and routers.
Follow the onboard /off board process for employees ensuring all processes
are completed. Perform software and hardware installation, troubleshooting
and training for end-users, basic administration of DELL KACE appliance.
Additional Activities:
Quote and follow up purchase of assets applying the company’s standards.
Participation on improvement projects. Training new Help Desk members.
Participate on the “On-Call” rotation for emergency issues in production,
finance, or other critical processes that could affect the business.
Achievements:
• Retire VMware servers
• Migrate VMware guests’ servers to Windows Server 2012 r2 server
host with Hyper-V
• Monitor available space in C drive on each computer for upgrade
project
• Run performance monitor for computer replacement project
• Create the corporate Windows image through WDS
• Migrate virtual computers to new Windows 10 OS
• Improve shipping process in all company locations
• Create/ deploy scripts to automate tasks for production areas
• Create/ deploy scripts for internal IT processes
