Purchasing & procurement manager

•	Strategic sourcing & Supply chain optimization for technological components in Automotive and Aerospace industry; Automation & Robotics, Software, state-of-the-art technology for Resistance Welding.
•	Procurement Benchmarking for specific projects. Budgeting control and close follow-up to large automotive projects with financial and project management purposes.
•	Procurement and supply for companies: FCA Chrysler, Toyota, BMW, Nissan, GM, Honda, Volkswagen, Ford, Kenworth, Mazda, Navistar, and Aerospace companies Bombardier and Safran.
•	Purchase of materials Tier1, Tier 2, Integrators, OEMs automotive sector. (Machinery, Transformers, Motors, Inverters, parts and components, Measuring equipment: Infrared, Flow sensors technology, micro-welding, Copper technology) 
•	Logistic chain optimization (economical & functionally), consolidating operations and managing monetary resources in a model that allows on time deliveries without affect our clients and their production schedules.
•	Critical imports coming from Europe, North America & Asia. Management and readjustment of changes, alterations in supply chain for adaptations in production line. 
•	Planning, execution and inventory control, material categorization, obsolete inventory reduction, adjustment and redefinition procedures at Warehouse; maximum-minimum, safety stock, “smart stock” implementation, just-in-time inventory management. 
•	Compliance with customs legal requirements and regulations of a foreign trade.

•	Planning, Integration & Execution of Purchases for 5 companies conglomerate for diverse companies and government projects. IT Purchases, Optical Fiber, RFID solutions, Telecom, Global Outsourcing Services, Cloud Computing, Printing, Scanning Construction Engineering and Electrical Industry.
•	Purchases for regional and global projects for companies: IBM, Nestle, Scotiabank, ADO, Toyota, Vitro, Heineken, Huawei, Grupo Modelo.
•	Supply of materials to Sistema Metro CDMX (channeling and wiring project). Development, supply and implementation for operational and human resources in a regional project in Central and South America for Bimbo Corporative.
•	Face to face direct negotiation with suppliers managing commercial conditions and terms, agreement definition for our diverse projects. Joint and coordinated work with different business units in pursuit of special projects, participation in bidding processes (private initiative & government)
•	Strategic Planning with Finance & Direction to manage resources in an appropriate manner in an adverse scenario; controlling project costs and assigned budgets.
•	Strategic brand channels development, manufacturer alliances, definition for direct  and indirect purchase model for the company, Opex & Capex registers as well as their intercompany operation model.

•	Purchasing & imports cutting edge technology for diverse sectors; Storage, Computing and Software, Virtual Reality, Robotics, Hardware for Cine-Video-Broadcast TV & Media market. Development of supply options for 1st landing in Mexican market for 8K video, VR, IP data connectivity, Wireless technology.
•	Purchase budgeting, cost reduction, negotiation of corporate agreements, contracts definition, (prices, delivery times, volume discounts) strategic purchases by category of products., searching continuously better options trough Supplier development.
•	Warehouse management, analysis of inventories, goods reception, reorder points, and Procurement stock management trough Supply chain.
•	Collaborate with sales, marketing, and commercial areas to define purchase forecasts within inventory targets, working with cross-functional teams for evaluate, planning, coordinate and execute operations according business objectives.
•	Import customs logistics; oversight and monitoring shipments coming from Europe and USA.
•	Costing/budgeting special logistic projects and operations for sales department. Product delivery logistics, transportation budgeting, distribution definition. 
•	Improve of general performance, developing and monitoring KPI programs to measure progress by establishing standards of performance, develop improvement initiatives to define metrics and identify savings and opportunity areas.

•	Purchase and imports materials, spare parts, raw materials, products for industries: Plastic, Glass, Enamel. Handling hazardous materials, oversight and monitoring of global shipments, product delivery logistics, customs house management.
•	Coordinating Land, Maritime and Air exportations; specialized in maritime operations coming from Europe and Asia, land exportations to North America; air & maritime exportations to Central and South America. 
•	Design and setup logistics operations & infrastructure in support of business requirements for export to USA production centers. Planning study and execution of Intermodal shipments to United States of America. 
•	Liaise with HQ for purchase forecasts, order placement and follow-up of imports; managing resources adaptively in respond to environment business changes.
•	Expertise on 3PL logistics and distribution operations, warehousing; transportation budgeting and analysis for and continuous cost/process improvement for getting better market prices and costs transportation.
•	Work in cross-functional teams to evaluate and improve operation flow/controls to support manufacturing requirements, planning and monitoring programs with Production team, enabling a sense of urgency to respond any changes in operational support requirements, due to manufacturing transitions or new planning demand.
