Responsibilities - Together with the OperationsManager, this role will manage the overall supply chain operations in Yara Mexico.
Both are responsible to lead the supply Chain of ~800kt of fertilizer, feed phosphate and industrial products.
- Accountable for the execution of the supply chain strategy in the Company to maximize efficiency, productivity and profitability.
- Lead and coordinate a team responsible for planning, sourcing, procurement, foreign trade, logistic operations and distribution to support and meet sales strategy and commercial commitments.
- Lead the S&OP / S&OE Processes and custody Inventory Days & Forecast Accuracy targets.
- Act as a partner for the Commercial teams to identify focal demand per site and final import destination.
- Design and lead the right distribution and fulfillment set up enabling high customer service standard.
- Lead the quay side and local trading businesses in close coordination with the Sourcing & Trading team in LATAM & Switzerland ensuring right alignment with Yara Mexico's Commercial strategy.
- Contribute with local negotiations and purchasing, as well as optimize the service plans with LATAM sourcing.
- Lead the implementation/improvement of best practices and programs in planning, sourcing, foreign trade, fulfilment/transportation.
- Establish and monitor Service Level Agreements between Supply Chain and Commercial areas.
Drive process improvements to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Identify risks related to international market trends and prices volatility and implement strategies to mitigate it.
- Identify risks related to competitors sourcing strategy that could impact Yara’s profitability and design/execute contingency measures to mitigate them.
- Ensure the execution of the Indirect Procurement guidelines.
- Leadership and execution of the fulfillment strategy.
- Represent Yara when necessary in the industry.
- Champion of safety, as well as ethics and compliance aligned to Yara Standards and policies.
- Ensure compliance with the Safety Principles, guidelines and HESQ standards established by the company, based on the Safe by Choice philosophy, as well as the applicable legal requirements.
Profile -Bachelor/master degree in engineering, administration or similar,  preferably with Industrial orientation and Master or Postgraduate Course in Supply Chain -Minimum 10 years of relevant field experience and 5 years leading teams -Budget management - Product Stewardship - Lean Manufacturing - Fluent spoken and written English - Availability to travel -High cultural awareness / adaptability / flexibility   Additional Information "As a global organization we actively strive to reflect diversity in society.
