As a Senior UX UI Developer on the UX Engineering team, you’ll work closely with designers, software engineers, content strategists, accessibility specialists, product owners and researchers to develop, grow, and maintain our global design system.

About the Role As a Senior UX UI Developer, you will.
Create and build.
Have deep experience with responsive UI design methodology and processes (user-centered and iterative design).
Translate design language into a reusable code library.
Create scalable and accessible components.
Implement brand and animation standards.
Document and communicate with project teams.
Be part of a collaborative team.
Work closely with the UX Designers, Accessibility Specialists, Content Strategists, and UX Researchers in a collaborative team-oriented environment to create, test and support HTML SASS components and static UI patterns.
Use tools to speed up development across our entire organization.
Advocate for the user’s needs while developing features that align to the needs of the user.
Be an Effective Communicator.
Share ideas, participate in peer-reviews, and exhibit strong listening skills.
Justify and articulate development decisions during code reviews.
You participate in brainstorming sessions with product teams, and can share outcomes using excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Continuously learning next generation user experiences, technology, and contribute to process development practices.
Turn user research and usability feedback into easy-to-use solutions.
Gather, analyze, and synthesize UX needs for complex product and user requirements.
Participates in user experience (UX) projects at all levels.
acts as a UX project lead for medium to large projects (size and complexity).
Advocates and represents the customer in product and platform development.
Interprets customer and user research findings, and designs and develops effective and elegant user experiences.
Provides creative resolution of problems or issues in order to achieve an improved future result.
Creates, evaluates and modifies moderately complex prototypes to support evolving software application development.
Develops user profiles, with emphasis on human error control, display issues, visual interaction, physical manipulation, and task and objective analyses.
Develops and applies software design/usability processes in the investigation of technical problems.
Provides UX training and mentoring to other UX staff.
Communicates and advocates usability and product standards, practices and theories.
Contributes to and refines establishment of department UX standards and practices.
About you.
You're a fit for the role of Senior UX UI Developer if your background includes.
Minimum 5+ years experience developing large, complex front-end web applications Angular or React Ability to navigate ambiguity, driven for self-learning and to find solutions, challenge the status quo Bachelor's degree preferred; Associate degree in a technology-related field and/or experience may be considered Familiarity with working in Agile development environment Knowledge of web standards and accessibility (W3C and WCAG 2.
AA), interaction design and user-centered design principles Portfolio of work and demonstration of skillset Knowledge of CSS driven layouts and manipulating the DOM Ability to create production-quality CSS, SASS, semantic HTML for complex web applications with support for mobile and tablet devices Implement browser-independent designs and fix cross-browser issues (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Safari) on all platforms Design experience with a focus on design tenants, aesthetics and detail Location.

Modular CSS, SASS ins and functions Knowledge of accessibility standards, WCAG compliance and accessible feature development Developing mobile and accessible features for customer-facing products and tablet devices Understanding of web Components, React, and Angular frameworks Ability to follow technical specifications and production processes Ability to create and update design tokens Ability to adjust graphics and create / optimize graphic assets as needed to complete designs Ability to work with source/version control software Aptitude to understand and build SEO/semantic solutions Understand iconography and SVG graphics and performance What's in it for you.
