We are seeking a Junior Software Engineer to join our innovative team in developing the next generation of Supply Chain applications.
These cutting-edge applications are designed from the ground up, leveraging both current and emerging technologies and practices.

The ideal candidate will be eager to learn and grow, with foundational skills in software development across various layers of the technology stack, from front-end to back-end elements like business logic, API design, algorithms, and data stores.
While not expected to be an expert in all areas, some exposure to or interest in specializing in certain layers, such as data technologies or user interfaces, would be advantageous.
Responsibilities.
Develop next-generation applications utilizing UI, microservices, SaaS, and other emerging technologies.
Participate in an Agile team, taking on tasks from the sprint/backlog, reporting on progress, and collaborating with the team to deliver value.
Support users with problems or questions about onboarding or product operation.
Present application functionality to external team members and business owners regularly, and clarify existing features.
Collaborate with the development team and support staff to ensure applications function as expected.
Contribute ideas for improving application functionality and performance.
Document processes and requirements to aid development efforts by the team.
Demonstrate a willingness to take on new challenges and learn new technologies swiftly as needed.
Qualifications.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent knowledge gained through self-directed learning or bootcamps.
Familiarity with Agile development principles (Scrum, XM, Kanban) preferred.
An understanding of or interest in DevOps methodologies.
Exposure to developing distributed applications on SaaS platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP is a plus.
Basic knowledge of back-end frameworks (e.
., Node.
s, Java/Spring, Python) is beneficial.
Exposure to front-end frameworks (e.
., ReactJS, Vue, Angular, JavaScript, TypeScript) is desirable.
Understanding or experience working with RESTful APIs.
Experience with web application development is a plus.
Familiarity with code versioning tools, such as Git.
Ability to collaborate effectively with global teams.
Travel – less than 10% of the time.
