SENIOR SYSTEM ANALYST

Project description An international Investment Bank is enhancing its IT systems by introducing new technology and integrating with new third-party providers.
Several projects will take place in the coming years, focusing on Trading, Market data, and Risk Management.
Responsibilities - Architectural responsibilities to assist in designing comprehensive systemsn- Delving into complex system infrastructuren- Actively working with vendors to clearly document their specifications and articulate them to the development teams n- Requirement gathering, system analysis, functional and technical specifications development n- Partnering with business teams to clearly document requirements and workflows for new developments n- Helping write JIRA stories for the workstreams as needed n- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders in the business n- Working with the development teams to ensure business needs are met n SKILLS Must have 5+ years of Proven Experience in System Analysis nEngineering/technical backgroundnComprehensive understanding of System Design nArchitectural knowledge to assist in designing comprehensive systemsnStrong Knowledge of SDLC nExtensive hands-on experience with Distributed Systems nProficiency in gathering, analyzing, and translating user needs into Functional Specifications.
nExpertise in Data Exchange Methods.
REST, GraphQL, WebSockets, gRPC, queues, and other integration mechanisms.
nComprehensive Understanding of Data Formats.
JSON, XML, YAML, CSV, and others nIn-depth Knowledge of Data Serialization Challenges nHands-on Experience with SQL nProficiency in Visualization Tools.
Visio, Draw.
o, or similar software to create comprehensive system diagrams and process flows.
nExperience with Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid approaches Nice to have Experience in the Capital Markets field nEngineering background nLinux knowledge nExperience with CI/CD tools.
