SENIOR PYTHON ENGINEER

is looking for a Senior Python Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico.
Our client is a developer of a comprehensive generative artificial intelligence platform intended to automate routine tasks and analyze complex insurance documents.
The company's platform aims to address the key issues plaguing property and casualty Insurance companies, including escalating expenses, a scarcity of skilled professionals, and operational difficulties, enabling property and casualty agencies to unlock new revenue without increasing headcount.
They serve as a comprehensive Gen-AI platform for property and casualty agencies and act as a core system that automates routine tasks, analyzes complex insurance documents, and produces insights into market trends.
Insurance and technology professionals with deep industry experience conceived the solution.
Requirements.
6+ years of experience as a Python Developer in a production environment.
Strong knowledge of Django.
Ability to hit the ground running in a command line and scripting environment.
Understanding of relational databases like PostgreSQL.
Knowledge of AWS.
Strong expertise in testing and debugging.
Both an independent individual contributor and team player with good English communication skills.
Responsibilities.
Become an expert on your teams' technical stack(s), and gain knowledge on the business domains.
Plan, implement and deploy changes and best coding, testing, and monitoring practices.
Troubleshoot production issues as they arise.
Participate in team meetings and collaborate with engineers in the team.
Troubleshoot production issues and investigate and resolve application issues, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies.
Will be a plus.
Knowledge of front-end technologies like React.
