Description Scopely is seeking a Senior People Business Partner to join the Global People Team in Mexico City on a hybrid basis working 3 days a week from the hub.

The People team manages everything from benefits & employee engagement to professional development opportunities and more! You will be the People Team Business Partner for the Mexico team.
Your primary clients will be the leaders/managers, in addition to the other functional leaders.
Over time this role will build into having an increased scope.
What you will do In partnership with the leaders and PBP leadership, ensure we have a clear and effective talent strategy Shape and lead aspects of Scopely's global approach to Talent Management through a deep understanding of the organization's talent, challenges, needs, culture and operations Design and implement practical solutions for your teams consistent with our global talent philosophy and programs Inform strategy and/or lead aspects of core Talent Management processes, programs, and events Play a leadership role in codifying how our leaders can solve business and talent challenges Ensure we have both strong team-based operating cultures and have the right portfolio-wide practices around leadership communication and talent decision making Communicate complex information, thoughts, and opinions with clarity and transparency Establish credibility and reliability as an efficient driver of issue resolution -- through facilitation, coaching others on how to solve their challenges, and through a partnership with other PBPs across Scopely Act as first point of contact for employee relations issues, appropriately escalating as necessary to HR management and/or involving Legal as needed to respond to all issues in ways consistent with Scopely's values and standards Coach employees on career pathing, employee relations, objective setting, etc.
and line managers to address career development needs of their teams; educates managers and employees on performance processes and holds them accountable to ongoing performance coaching Partner with the People Business Partner team to coach team leaders on effective change management Support teams on change strategies, communications and post-implementation assessment Partners with HR management and COEs to consistently improve the organization's capability through identification and implementation of programs that provide innovative development opportunities to meet current and future business goals What We're Looking For A minimum of 6 years of human resource management experience Bachelor's and/or Master's degree preferred Knowledge of local employment laws and regulations will be a important Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate Strong English language skills are required for this role as we have a highly diverse and global business At Scopely, we create games for everyone - and want to ensure that the people behind our games reflect that!
