Job Description.
In your day-to-day as a Senior Software Engineer, you will.
Be a strong advocate for technical standards, engineering best practices, and quality across PayPal, Inc.
Contributes to engineering efforts on extensive project features, modules, and services.
Support end-to-end ownership of software components' design, implementation, and operational excellence.
Influence and drive timely, accurate, and complete projects through engagement and participation at the team level.
Be a teammate who looks ahead and anticipates the consequences of implementation choices on future development.
What do you need to bring as a Senior Software Engineer.
3+ years of experience with Python or equivalent high-level programming language.
Experience with RDBMS and NoSQL data stores, caching solutions, and messaging/queuing protocols/systems such as SQS/Kafka/RabbitMQ/Pul Strong skills in designing and developing scalable backend systems.
Familiarity with DevOps principles and experience with cloud platforms.
Practical communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
Have a test-driven mindset.
Language requirement.
Proficient (B2.
Upper-Intermediate) in both written and spoken English.
