SENIOR ANDROID ENGINEER

is looking for a Senior Android Engineer for a full-time position (40 hours per week) in Mexico.

We're seeking a hardworking, skilled, and result-driven Android Engineer to help take the product to the next level.
You'll have the freedom to leverage your intuition, creativity, and expertise to help one of the top job sites in the world to continue its rapid expansion.
Our ideal candidate will have a passion for Mobile application development and a strong background in building beautiful and scalable mobile applications.
In this role, you work in a cross-functional, collaborative environment - so excellent interpersonal and communication skills are also necessary.

Requirements.
CS degree or equivalent experience.
3+ of experience developing mobile applications for Android.
Solid experience with Kotlin and Java.
Expertise in Jetpack Compose and coroutine.
Experience with software engineering practices (e.
., unit testing, code reviews, design documentation).
Proficiency in multithreading and performance optimization techniques for Android.
Solid knowledge of Android OS architecture, including UI, memory management, data storage, security, and application management by OS.
Experience in UI development of Android applications (scalable for different screen resolutions and localization).
Solid understanding of the software development life-cycle and Agile methodologies.
Self-starter who is comfortable taking on and delivering on a task without much management.
A strong desire and ability to add to the company's diversity, equity, and inclusion culture.
Responsibilities.
You will work on refactoring the existing application and then on the complete rewriting.
As an Android Engineer, you will work on the client's Mobile Application Engineering team, responsible for the popular, award-winning iOS and Android apps.
The client's mobile apps are part of the key strategy in the company's mission to help users find the jobs and companies they love.
The Mobile Application Engineering team owns all aspects of the native app feature set and delivery.
