Are you a motivated sales professional with a success track record of consultative selling? Do you value providing world-class customer service and viable solutions to customers? If so, we want you on our team! Lubrizol is currently looking for a motivated and passionate Account Manager to join our  Personal Home & Healthcare Division (PHHC).
In this role, you will be  responsible for representing the sale of solutions (products, concepts, and services) for bath & shower, hair care, skin care (non-actives) and home care markets.
This is a remote role, ideally based in the southern California region.
What You'll Do.
Lead the sales and market development activities to promote growth of the business for assigned accounts and territories.
Manage the entire sales process from prospecting to closing.
Foster and grow the appropriate business relationships both internally and externally.
Develop and implement aggressive sales plans at the territory and account level.
Effectively communicate with internal R&D, Marketing, and Operations group.
Develop, negotiate, and close sales contracts and agreements.
Create and implement account plans that are well aligned with the business strategy.
Comply with administrative requirements (call reports, forecasting, expense reports, etc.).
Represent Lubrizol at trade shows, conferences, and at local industry association, demand planning, and regional marketing meetings.
Engage closely with Marketing to identify and evaluate new, high value opportunities.
Develop and manage annual territory budget.
Identify and evaluate market opportunities to be able to enter new and growing applications, identify and support the launch of new products.
Skills That Make A Difference.
Bachelor's degree, preferably with a focus in engineering or science (ex, chemistry, biology, physics, etc) Minimum 1 year of relevant experience, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities pertinent to the focus markets.
Willing and able to travel 35% of the time.
Tactical and strategic thinking and business acumen skills.
Strong negotiation, communication and presentation skills.
Excellent interpersonal abilities and a strong drive for results.
Demonstrated successes in implementing new product, solution, technology and value selling programs.
