Our client is looking for a Project Controller who will support the fund in investment management, reporting and workstreams throughout the lifecycle of renewable investments - including transactions and divestments.
This position is based in Mexico City.
\u003Cb>What the job involves\u003C/b> \u003Cbr /> \u003Cbr /> \u003Cul> \u003Cli>Build, implement, and maintain costs controlling models for projects in Latin America, during the construction and operations phases.
u003C/li> \u003Cli>Elaborate reports for the investment teams and other stakeholders on financial performance of investments; review of internal reports, external annual reports and tax reporting.
u003C/li> \u003Cli>Oversee and control service provider activities.
u003C/li> \u003Cli>Review the forecast on cash requirements for all the portfolio investments.
\u003C/li> \u003Cli>Coordinate with investment teams and asset managers on cash flow requirements.
u003C/li> \u003Cli>Elaborate the month-end closing in accordance with the agreed closing procedures and deadlines.
u003C/li> \u003Cli>Monthly control of accounts including cost controlling, balance sheet controlling, and others related.
\u003C/li> \u003C/ul> \u003Cb>Who we are looking for\u003C/b> \u003Cbr /> \u003Cbr /> \u003Cul> \u003Cli>Relevant experience in a private or public accounting firm or in a controlling position.
Experience with renewable energy projects is a plus.
\u003C/li> \u003Cli>Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business administration or related field.
Other relevant educational qualifications with the right work experience will also be considered.
u003C/li> \u003Cli>Superior analytical skills.
u003C/li> \u003Cli>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
u003C/li> \u003Cli>Analytical thinker and detail oriented.
u003C/li> \u003Cli>English full professional proficiency.
