PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT MANAGER

You’ll be responsible for managing and leading technical projects to develop, renovate, optimize and introduce new products across Latin America.
You’ll have a relevant impact on the Corporation as a technical resource to various functions within the company and provides high impact support to project teams.
This role is located in Querétaro with the expectation to be in the office on a hybrid schedule.

A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing   Prototype formula creation and adaptation to industrial level, scale-up, plant trials, personnel training, production start-up lead, transfer to plant operations and full documentation.
Full compliance with Quality/Design, cost and time requirements per LPM direction.
Participate in relationships with vendors.
Raw material selection, material ordering, test materials inventory management.
Collaborate in test staffing, usage of line time, requesting, tracking and reporting.
Pre-costing and costing of all assigned projects focusing on Food technology steps.
Creation of quality manuals, support definition of image & defect manuals, budget management and tracking.
Serve as guardian to obtain the best possible Food product in all work activities (Reviews, definitions, product handling, meetings, plant trials, consumer studies, etc.).
Active participation in activities such as ideation sessions internally or with consumers, FDR’s, international and local shows, Cereal and Snacks challenges.
We’re Looking for Someone With   Bachelor of Science Degree in science or engineering with 9 year experience Master of Science degree in Food Science or related discipline with 6 year experience is desirable! Capable to maintain business and technical conversations.
