• Solid knowledge in Equipment and Processes Engineering (SMT, Backend, automatic and manual assembly lines).
• Lean Manufacturing, Coore Tools, NPI.
• Effective communication skills for collaborating with your team members and cross-functional partners.
• Advanced English • Analytical skills in identifying and resolving manufacturing issues.
• Prior experience in product manufacturing engineering is essential to effectively support your team and manage the manufacturing process.
• Track record of improving manufacturing processes and reducing costs.
• Must be very hands-on, good for teaching and coaching, and with excellent leadership skills.
• Good problem-solving skills RESPONSIBILITIES • Key communication channel between the Engineering areas and the functional areas of Manufacturing, Quality, Planning, Materials.
• Manage the Engineering process.
• Report projects, progress, activities, situations, and problems of the department.
• Responsible for maintaining clear and open communication with the General Management, to ensure that all the activities of his department are aligned with the business plans.
• Ensure that production plans are met with the highest established quality standards and at the correct time.
• Facilitate and ensure the creation of work teams for the continuous improvement of Engineering KPIs.
• Establish the goals of key indicators and periodically evaluate the performance of the personnel under your charge.
• Facilitate problem-solving strategies.
• Motivate outstanding performance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
• Lead the implementation of efficient engineering processes and procedures.
This includes selecting appropriate equipment, tools, and methodologies to optimize production.
• Establish and maintain quality control measures to ensure that products meet or exceed industry standards and customer expectations.
• Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering process, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
