Department Overview Manufacturing Engineering for the Video Security and Access Control systems.

Job Description This role is responsible for the process development of new Printed Circuit Board Assemblies (PCBA) and new camera assembly products.
Responsibilities will focus on New Product Introductions (NPI), process development, optimizations, identify areas of improvement and develop and implement processes to improve overall manufacturing quality.
RESPONSIBILITIES Conduct Design for Manufacturing(DFM) and Design for Assembly(DFA) reviews Manage product tooling, jigs, fixtures development, maintenance, and upgrades.
Monitor Engineering Change Orders (ECO) and ensure implementations are followed through as intended Troubleshoot process issues and find root cause and perform corrective action through Corrective Action Reporting (CAR) Provide training, direction, and guidance to SMT and assembly operators Develop new technologies, equipment, tools, processes, materials, and procedures to define, improve manufacturing solutions and efficiencies.
Reduce/ Eliminate Setup and changeover time.
Maximize machine utilization and uptime.
Work with Design Engineering to validate Approved Vendor List conformance to, process requirements, lead free process compatibility, Identify and feedback discrepancies for resolution.
Review and approve reflow oven profiles Ensure adherence to IPC-610 & ISO Procedures Responsible for Continuous improvement and weekly review of Rolled Yield reports and respective corrective actions.
EDUCATION, QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Minimum 5 years’ experience in High-Tech manufacturing environment IPC-A-610, ISO and related standard knowledge preferred.
Strong technical background in SMT processes Effective problem solving and organizational skills.
Strong interpersonal skills and organization skills with the ability to work within a team environment Candidate MUST reside in Guadalajara and be available to work 100% onsite from Avenida Valdepeñas , Col de Zapopan, Zapopan, Jalisco.
Basic Requirements Electronic engineering experience required, preferably in a PCBA manufacturing environment.
Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Mechatronics or Industrial Engineering Bilingual with good command of written and spoken English.
