About the Role.
The Operations Manager, Order Management will assist in the daily activities associated with overseeing Mexico customer orders (quote, audit, and returns), and support cross-border fulfillment.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Spanish, partnering with the local Sales & Legal team to assemble order forms, legal documents, or business agreements.
The Operations Manager will also work closely with the US Logistics team to schedule shipments and liaise with local brokers to resolve possible custom/forwarder issues.
In the event of customer returns, this person will process the replacement order and proceed with the applicable RMA process as the main point of contact for our sales AEs.
Occasionally, they will serve as the Motive Mexico representative to perform tasks/projects assigned, such as follow-up with Mexico accounts on collections.
What You'll Do.
This role will be a blend of order management, fulfillment coordination and RMA process management as we continue to scale into the Mexico region.
Communication Skills - Strong communication skills in order to collaborate with different swim-lanes, and representing Motive to external customers, vendors, partners.
Organizational Skills - Be able to perform several tasks at one time, keep detailed records, and manage several projects in a fast-paced environment Problem-solving Skills - Must handle unforeseen issues, and proactively alert internal teams with a sense of urgency.
Analytical Skills - Collect and analyze information, problem solve with data to facilitate decision making What We're Looking For.
3+ years of related experience in a similar role within Order / Operations Management, with expertise in US-Mexico operations English + Spanish fluency in speaking and in writing Very strong Excel skills and highly sensitive to numbers Proficiency with ERP software (i.
