NURSERY RETAIL / SALES MANAGEMENT

The Succesful candidate will take the lead in the nursery and take on some aspects of managment.
This role will be varying and the candidate will be required to adapt to curcumstances as required.
hat you will be required to do.
ou will be involved in managing the Nursery, reporting to the MD and other senior managment.
Ensuring a clean and tidy environment, liaising with other colleagues,Plant husbandry.
You will liaise with the Nursery production manager to ensure that all stock is produced to high stadard, and that best industry practices are implemented.
runing and training of stock to the desired outcome and standard and to ensure mazimum growth.
ecords and reporting.
You will maintain all records in relation to the plants, for in house purposes and to satisfy any statutory purposes.
icking and Packing.
You will be involved in selecting stock for customer orders and also ensuring quality control is adhered to at all times.
ealth and Safety.
You will ensure a safe environment for staff at all timesManagement of the team.
You will liaise with and manage your colleagues on site in a collaborative and productive manner.

You will be involved in selling to customers and in taking care of all customer needs.
kills and Attributes you will require.
ualifications in horticulture are desired, however some experience is expected.
revious experience working in a nursery or garden centre is requiredAverage level IT and admin ability will be useful.
eadership and management experience would be useful plus the ability to work both alone and as part of a teamGood communication skills, a pleasant friendly manner and ability to coordinate and cooperate with colleagues and customers.
