Main Responsibilities •         Superior technical support for the maintenance engineers team on controls, communication, electrical, electronic and instrumentation.
•         Specialized technical assistance on equipment failures.
•         Execute projects requested by production customers on equipment improvement.
•         Maintains project budget cost control on projects assigned through project cost control system for the unit..
•         Responsible for the new equipment installation.
•         Establish contact with contractors and suppliers.
•         Generate and update preventive maintenance and OPM.
•         Review equipment specifications and procure the standardization of equipment.
•         Documentation for equipment and process.
•         Management of spare parts for equipment and process.
•         Generate and attend projects for continuous improvement on equipment and process.
•         Prepares purchase orders for management approval.
•         Coordinate technical training for maintenance people.
•         Participate and Apply safety, environment and ergonomic programs.
•         Participate on the contingency and emergency brigades.
What Skills You Need •         Superior knowledge on controls (programming, communication, electrical, electronic and instrumentation).
•         Superior Knowledge on PLC Allen-Bradley (hardware and programming), Ethernet architecture and configuration, data acquisition systems, automatic position control.
•         Medium Skills on CNC Fanuc and Siemens, gauges Marphos.
•         Superior responds to critical down situations affecting production, providing troubleshooting and maintenance of equipment.
•         Knowledge on computer and software skills (CAD, engineers tools, basic office tools, MS Office, internet, SAP, MS Outlook).
•         Knowledge on engineering (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, controls, power systems, etc.).
•         Knowledge on topics related in areas as mechanic, machining geometry, alignment.
– knowledge to understand mechanical drawings.
•         Knowledge on regulations and objectives related with safety, quality and environment.
•         Knowledge on subcontracting, indirect materials and purchasing process.
•         Knowledge on Measurement and calibration equipment (multitester, oscilloscope, megger, etc.).
•         Knowledge on predictive tools (thermographic, vibrations, ultrasound, etc.).
•         Knowledge on quality standards.
Six sigma, Root cause analysis.
What Makes You Stand Out •        Experience on Autonomous maintenance, TPM and 5S.
•        Skill in using computer aided design and/or engineering tools (Autocad, Solidworks, etc.) •        Knowledge of contract management and Indirect Materials & Systems (IM&S) Supply Management Strategies.
•        Knowledge of Safety standards (JDHS, OSHA, etc.) and its management tools (Lockout, Medgate, Near Miss, ergonomic, etc.).
•        Knowledge on environmental laws, regulations and goals.
•        Knowledge of product, process, and facilities design and facilities engineering.
•        Knowledge on manufacturing, demand based on equipment usage, Mistake proofing, Capacity studies, etc.
Education •         Engineer bachelor degree on areas of electronics, mechatronics, instrumentation.
•         80% English level (speak, read and write).
