Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry.
his segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network.
The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications.
The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own us e.
Position Description.
In this role you will work as an operation support specialist in new Global S4 HANA team being created in strategic ERP Transformation Organization.
You will work in international company with great history having many divisions and subsidiaries all over the world.

You will work with colleagues from different regions, lead meetings, and take responsibility for the SAP RTR (Record to Report) workstream with focus on NAFTA area.
Experience in one of more of the following is highly desirable.
Experience in CO and FI implementation & customizing.
RTR stream - Ability to demonstrate S/4 HANA processes in Record to Report.
Experience in dealing with key integration areas of supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing.
Experience in S4 Conversion, workflow, interfaces, and EDI.
Strong analytical thinking skills.
Able to perform under pressure during times like a system down situation.
Ability to work across multiple teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
Conduct working sessions with business users as required.
Able to work with Basis team during troubleshooting providing guidance when required.
The ability to research and apply OSS notes as required to resolve issues.
Will need to become proficient in working within our ticketing system – ServiceNow.
Must be a self-starter with ability to manage work with minimal supervision able to work independently following Corning established coding guidelines.
Will work with operations team in support break/fix activities as well as assignment.
Will be in an on-call rotation supporting team / organization expected to meet SLA commitments defined by IT and agreed upon by the organization.
Analyze software requirements to determine design feasibility.
Develop software systems, including programming, documentation, and testing procedures.
Education & Experience.
3+ years SAP ECC 6.
and SAP S/4 Proficient in Business Analysis, Business Knowledge, Architecture Knowledge and Technical Solution Design.
Excellent communication and written skills to aid in RICEF creation and design document creation.
In-depth knowledge of SAP best practices.
Required Skills.
Ability to demonstrate FICO Processes in S/4 HANA Controlling components including Cost Centers, Profit Centers, Internal Orders.
RCA – Revenue and Cost Accounting Product Costing Profitability Analysis Financial Accounting GL – General Ledger AP – Accounts Payable AR – Accounts Receivable AA – Assets Accounting BL – Bank Accounting Experienced SAP S/4 HANA FICO Lead Consultant to work on Identify and resolve complex technical issues within our customer service-level agreements.
Desired Skills.
Experience in other SAP modules.
Development experience (ABAP is strong plus).
Fiori, Adobe Forms.
Proficiency in debugging complex programs.
ServiceNow experience.
