GBS STP PAYMENTS ANALYST

As a GBS STP Payments Analyst you will perform daily payments to suppliers in the KLA region.
Ensure payables expenses are properly recorded and paid through account reconciliations and month-end reports, according to internal account payables policy.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing   Accounting & Compliance.
Performing accounting and administrative activities fulfilling corporate policies, internal procedures and statutory requirements.
Also, compliance/control testing to ensure that internal controls are implemented and performed as required.
Payments Follow up.
Performing daily payments to vendors, conciliate open items with vendors.
Also, following up of bank payment rejections and conciliate bank account entries vs accounting.
Support to internal users when needed.
Also, account reconciliation and follow up of open items.
Performing prepayment and down payments, follow up of open items.
Support to internal and external clients.
Identifying opportunities.
Identifying simplification or automation opportunities on the daily activities and processes.
Identify and communicate process issues and opportunities to supervisor.
Execute activities related to continuous improvement projects or special information requests.
Financial Information.
Developing an understanding of the business elements connected to financial information.
Implementation of accounting processes.
Working with others to implement accounting processes, reporting requirements and system optimization.
Also, measurement of metrics and key performance indicators and analysis and reports to attend government and statutory requirements.
Your Recipe for Success   Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting/ Finance/Business-Related.
Previous experience in Finance, Accounting and Administrative positions.
English proficiency, capable of maintaining business conversations.
Experience using SAP or other financial planning systems.
Intermediate - Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel and Power Point.
Must have the ability to manage conflicting/changing priorities with tight deadlines.
Strong teamwork skills.
Strong analytical and communication skills and be detail-oriented.
Customer service oriented.
