COST & FINANCIAL PLANNING ANALYST

The Cost and Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for a variety of aspects including forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analyzing the company’s finance and expenses.
General Responsibilities • Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking • Performs variance analysis between actual, prior and standard costs • Analyze financial data and create cost and financial models for decision support • Report on financial and cost performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements • Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization • Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials • Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools • Recommend changes in operating procedures to improve efficiencies in payment and procurement processes • Examine data to help with reducing cost in all operations • Analyze the market and identify opportunities for growth and potential risks Experience / Qualifications • A university degree required (i.
