COST ACCOUNTING ANALYST

This position follows a hybrid working arrangement, three days on-site in our Refugio Campestre office and two days remote (work from home).
Responsibilities Review of project / contract terms and ensure that same are reflected in the ERP system (PeopleSoft) Ensure accurate cost recognition for each project or contract Ensure timely follow-ups of all outstanding items for accurate accounting Resolve internal customer inquiries in a professional manner Support the work of the team as directed by management Ensure compliance with internal controls, procedures and policy and with IFRS regime Maintain documentation thoroughly and accurately, in accordance with company policy and accepted accounting practices Assist in the testing, deployment, and management of processes/projects supporting the cost accounting function Prepare monthly journal entries and other month-end close activities Prepare G/L account reconciliations on a monthly basis Maintain various deferred cost schedules Prepare various financial packages for review by senior management Assist with year-end audit Resolve accounting issues and respond to any inquiries Suggest process improvements by reviewing current accounting procedures and recommending changes Assist with other projects as needed #LI-CC Who are you? Bachelor’s degree required in Accounting or Finance or similar field 2-3 years work experience preferred Strong communication/organization skills Detail oriented Ability to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment Ability to work in a team environment or independently Experience maintaining confidentiality and handling sensitive financial information Experience with PeopleSoft a plus CPA license or equivalent preferred Strong English language communication skills (oral and written) *Please submit resumes in English* HERE is an equal opportunity employer.
